A great fan fiction writer, Zzanee, once noted that fan fiction is simply alternative TV. I think she hit the nail right on the head. As a fan fiction writer you either pick some point in an ongoing storyline and write a different version of events or you take the existing elements and add other elements and stir up a different brew altogether. In other words, you indulge in a version of “What if?” where you take a critical decision or plot point and explore what you think might have happened if the story had gone in another direction or occurred in a different setting or at a different point in time. For that reason fan fiction may bare little resemblance to the actual story that occurred on the television program. For each of my stories, I’ve included what I call a “reality check” to point out what about the One Life To Live storyline served as an impetus for my fictional version of a fictional world. And all of my stories reflect one simple and undeniable truth: Todd and Blair love each other.
Cautionary Note: These stories are intended for mature adult audiences. Some of the language, sexually suggestive situations and depiction of violence may be offensive to some people. It is recommended, therefore, that people with heightened sensitivities to such issues not read these stories.
